How will AI impact jobs in this decade?

#artificialintelligence

Artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to have a significant impact on jobs in the coming years. According to a report by the World Economic Forum, the rise of AI and automation is expected to result in the displacement of 75 million jobs by 2025, while also creating 133 million new jobs in the same period. In this article, we will explore how AI is expected to impact jobs from 2025 to 2030. One of the major ways in which AI is expected to impact jobs is through automation. Automation refers to the use of technology to perform tasks that were previously done by humans.

AI will lead to fewer jobs. So what should businesses do about it?

I've been asked many times recently to comment on how the rise of AI will impact jobs and the economy, particularly in customer service and contact centers. I've seen wildly differing forecasts, from the dire predictions of Elon Musk to the optimistic predictions of Accenture. According to Forrester's'The Future of Jobs' report, robots will take 24.7 million jobs by 2027, but create 14.9 million new jobs in the same period. There is no doubt that AI will impact jobs globally more than any other technology in our lifetime. The key question is - what should we do about it?

The 8 Signs That Machine Learning Will Automate Some Or All Of Your Job

ML systems are very strong at learning empirical associations in data but are less effective when the task requires long chains of reasoning or complex planning that rely on common sense or background knowledge unknown to the computer. Ng's "one-second rule" suggests that ML will do well on video games that require quick reaction and provide instantaneous feedback but less well on games where choosing the optimal action depends on remembering previous events distant in time and on unknown background knowledge about the world.

As Robots Rise, How Artificial Intelligence Will Impact Jobs

All that must sound really apocalyptic, but I'd still like to believe that machines won't completely destroy humans in terms of earning a livelihood. We have had this controversy before every major change. During the Industrial Revolution, manual laborers feared that steam machines were going to take away their opportunity to earn a day's bread. And they did, for the time being, but in the long run, things got much better for society in general. There is a reason why, in all this time, even with the rapid advancement of technology, nothing has truly replaced humans or made them secondary in the world's hierarchy.
